Fireplace & Stove Installation

There are many reasons to invest in a gas, wood, or pellet fireplace or stove. Replacing an old, inefficient appliance, creating a secondary heat source, and increasing your home value are only a few.

You might be looking to update that old fireplace, add some reliant supplemental heat to your home, or decide to make the change from wood to gas. We can help you with that!

Why update your hearth?

  • A drafty fireplace loses more heat than it produces. A wood or gas insert is very efficient and is a reliable secondary heat source for your home.
  • Oil and propane is expensive to heat your home with. A wood stove can greatly offset those fuel prices
  • If your factory-built appliance is over 25 years old. The manufacturer considers these disposable appliances (your fireplace included). Due to its age, it may be creating unknown dangers that you won’t know about until it’s a problem! Replacing it will bring you peace of mind and a more efficient appliance.
  • Your hearth is much like your kitchen; it’s a place where people spend a lot of their time. Update your look and create a cozy gathering place for family and friends.

Replacing Factory-Built Fireplaces

If your factory wood or gas fireplace is over 25 years old, you may want to start planning to replace it. These fireplaces do not last as long as traditional masonry fireplaces, and were never designed to extend beyond 25 to 30 years. Unlike masonry fireplaces, factory built fireplaces cannot be repaired due to their UL listing and factory-specific parts. This can leave you with a surprise expense.

We are experts at removing and updating old units. Give us a call for an in-home consultation!
